Two-day snowmobile tour.
Join us for an amazing snowmobile tour to the Russian mining town of Pyramiden, which will take us back in time to when the city was thriving before it was closed in 1998, at one point home to around 1,000 residents. Today, Pyramiden is known as the northernmost ghost town and is still owned by the Russian company Trust Arktikugol, which also owns Barentsburg.

We will drive through snow-covered mountains, long valleys, and cross glaciers and fjords. Along the way, we’ll make several stops for you to capture perfect photos. Due to increasing challenges with snow and ice conditions, we now offer this trip as a two-day version, allowing us much more time to take the longer, safer route.
After picking you up from your hotel and taking you to our changing room, we will provide a safety briefing and dress you in the necessary gear. Then, we will show you how to operate the snowmobiles. Since this tour covers a long distance in varied terrain, we recommend a normal fitness level and preferably some prior snowmobile experience. The minimum age for participation is 12 years.
Please inform us in advance of any food allergies or health issues. For guests who wear glasses, we recommend switching to contact lenses, if possible.
