Safety on the tour

Our guides know the area and carry a rifle as a precaution against polar bears, as required on Svalbard. The pace is set by the group, and the guide assesses weather and conditions along the way.

Tour Details

With space for up to six people, you’ll glide over the snow-covered valleys and explore the tranquil surroundings of Longyearbyen, taking in the sweeping, open views that stretch far into the horizon. Along the way, we’ll make several stops to appreciate the scenery, spot wildlife, and capture photos. If you’re joining us early in the season (January or February), there’s also a chance to witness the northern lights dancing in the sky.

Please bring listed items below, and we will provide the rest of the necessary gear. Ensure you have a physical valid driver’s license if you wish to drive the snowmobile. Contact lenses are recommended instead of glasses for a more comfortable experience. Minimum age to participate is 6.
